As a leading pediatric dentist in Florida, Dr. Mark Dawoud combines clinical excellence with strategic leadership across multiple facets of dentistry.
Based out of Tampa and the surrounding region, Dr. Dawoud brings to his practice a deep understanding of pediatric sedation, laser techniques, hospital dentistry, and child-friendly care. Early in his career, he recognized that dental anxiety stemming from childhood can have lifelong consequences for treatment compliance and oral health. He says, “If children are afraid of the dentist, or have trouble sitting still, it makes it harder and harder to get them to appointments and can lead to future complications.”

Education
Katie is originally from Dade City, Florida and has lived in the St. Petersburg area since grade school. She graduated as an ambassador from Ultimate Medical Academy with her Dental Assistant Certificate, and she is currently working on an AS degree at St. Petersburg College. Katie genuinely loves dentistry, and she has so much fun working with the kids, she finds it very rewarding!
